Symposium Objectives
To encourage a constructive exchange of experience between internationalexperts on issues relating to: economic and efficient water resources developmentschemes; innovative and low-cost construction techniques; integrated regionaldevelopment; economic and efficient exploitation of renewable energy potential; conflictavoidance through effective public awareness strategies. To reach practical conclusions and enhance international collaboration, fosterpartnerships, and improve prospects for the timely implementation of new projects tofurther social and economic development in the Asian region, and to contribute topoverty alleviation in the less developed Asian countries.
