The Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre (KGRTC) is in Namalundu, about 100 km south of Lusaka. KGRTC is a registered trust in Zambia, which was established in 1989 to provide competitive specialized service training in hydropower and related engineering and management disciplines for the Southern African Development Cooperation (SADC) region. The Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LWHP) is a four-phase, multi-billion Maloti/Rand bi-national project between the Governments of the Kingdom of Lesotho and the Republic of South Africa. The project has been quoted by third parties as a showcase for transboundary water resources management.
