Implementation of a monitoring platform for ENDESA

A new system for managing data from the monitoring of 47 large dams has been implemented at ENDESA’s Hydropower Department in the Ebro-Pyrenees Area (UPH Ebro-Pirineos). In establishing the configuration of the required software tools, emphasis was placed on the incorporation of dam safety and monitoring knowledge, and on achieving a user-oriented solution. The main requirements for the software were: the use of web-based technology, and, the adoption of roles and user profiles which allow all configurations to be reviewed and modified.
