Three methods to study CO2 and CH4 fluxes at Eastmain 1 reservoir, Canada

Recent research in Canada, involving three different measurement techniques, has demonstrated that gross GHG emissions from the Eastmain 1 reservoir are low. This work confirms that boreal hydroelectric reservoirs are low GHG emitters, and the associated powerplants thus compare very favourably with thermal powerplants of the same capacity.
