Tsankov Kamak completes the Dospat-Vacha cascade

The Tsankov Kamak hydro project, currently under construction, is the largest hydro scheme to be implemented in Bulgaria for more than ten years. The main feature is a 133 m-high double curvature arch dam. An innovative financing method was used for the scheme, based on a carbon trading agreement with Austria.
