Read moreThe HYDRO 2018 Technical Exhibition will showcase more than 180 companies active in the fields of hydropower and dam engineering. All refreshment breaks will take place in the exhibition area, and a Networking Evening will take place on Tuesday 16 October, with late opening of the Exhibition to give all attendees an additional chance to visit companies and forge new business links in an informal setting.
HYDRO 2018 will be held in Gdansk, Poland. Technical sessions, bringing together experts from across the world, will be held on issues currently faced by the international hydropower and dams community.
The Polish utility Energa is planning a new cascade development on the Vistula river, and plans are also taking shape for a major new trinational inland navigation scheme, which could pave the way for new low-head run-of-river hydro schemes to move ahead. Poland is an ideal meeting point in central Europe, improving access for many of its neighbouring countries, who will join the regular attendees from the world hydropower community.
