Aqua-Media announces, with great regret, the need to postpone AFRICA 2021 until July next year. AFRICA 2022 will bring together delegates from around the world to focus on the most relevant topics facing the continent today. This website will be updated regularly as further details of the conference are confirmed.

Technical Exhibition

The AFRICA 2022 Technical Exhibition will showcase more than 80 companies active in the fields of hydropower and dam engineering. All refreshment breaks will take place in the exhibition area, and a Networking Evening will take place on Wednesday, with late opening of the Exhibition to give all attendees an additional chance to visit companies and forge new business links in an informal setting.

Conference Programme

AFRICA 2022 will take place at the Speke Resort Munyonyo beside Lake Victoria, Uganda. The fourth in the AFRICA regional conference series, previous events have been held in Ethiopia, Morocco and Namibia. 

Monday

Pre-conference workshops and Chairpersons' & Speakers' meetings and reception.

Tuesday

Opening ceremony, technical sessions begin and evening Welcome reception.

Wednesday

Technical sessions continue and extended opening of the Exhibition.

Thursday

Technical sessions continue, closing ceremony and Farewell Dinner.
