Consulting services sought for detailed design of dam for Sisneri Water Supply Project in Nepal

The Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board (KVWSMB) invites expressions of interest from eligible consulting firms by 8 October to provide detailed engineering design of a fam and its ancillary components for the Sisneri Water Supply Project. The consulting services will be financed by a grant from the World Bank to the Government of Nepal toward the preparation and implementation of the Kathmandu Valley Water Security Improvement Project (KV WaSIP).

Developer sought for Velimalai pumped-storage project in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Limited (TNGECL) intends to appoint a private developer for the development of the 1000 MW/6000 MWh Velimalai pumped-storage hydropower project in Kanyakumari District in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Bids under the Request for Proposals should be submitted online by 21 October.

Prequalification launched for EPC contractors for Mpatamanga in Malawi

Mpatamanga Hydro Power Limited (MHPL) has launched an initial selection phase for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing and Commissioning Contract for the 365.6 MW Mpatamanga storage hydropower project on the river Shire in southern Malawi. MHPL invites prequalification bids from eligible applicants by 13 November 2026 to participate in the initial selection process for the Pre-Construction Services (PCS) in the frame of the EPC contract award for the Mpatamanga project.
