The project involves installing two turbine-generator units, each rated at 120 kW, at the site of a waterfall on the Ivato river in the Ambositra district, Amoron’ny Mania Region, though the scope of this contract primarily covers the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the first 120 kW turbine-generator unit and its associated generation equipment. The first unit will be installed initially to meet the needs of the local communities within the project’s scope, while the second will be installed once conditions allow for a future interconnection with the district capital, Ambositra.
