Project manager sought for Sao Tome and Principe mini hydro programme

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Environment (MIRNE) of Sao Tome and Principe, through the National Directorate for Energy (DGRNE), invites expressions of interest by 5 June from eligible individual consultants for the role of project manager of the mini-hydro projects support programme.

The contracted consultant will assist with the coordination and implementation of this programme, as well as advise and assist MIRNE in the bidding process. The individual consultant will be embedded within the National Directorate of Energy. The contract will be financed by the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA), hosted by the African Development Bank, which has provided a US$ 1 million grant towards the cost of the mini hydro programme.

Interested individual consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services, namely their qualifications and experience, showing their ability to undertake this assignment (CV, in English/French and Portuguese, reference to similar services and assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability, contacts of professional references).

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s procurement policy framework (October 2015) and the provisions of the Financing Agreement, which is available at http://www.afdb.org.
