Consultants play an important role in bringing specialist knowledge and experience to hydro projects of all sizes. This includes areas such a structural modelling
and geotechnical/seismic risk, but also planning and environmental regulation.

While many consultants specialise in one areas, others will be engaged from the initial feasibility stage through to delivery, providing a guiding hand across a project and taking care of the procurement of all related services. It’s also not uncommon for the same consultancy to help manage the ongoing operation and maintenance of a plant on a client’s behalf.
