Flow Science is the developer of the FLOW-3D product family, powerful and accurate CFD tools focused on fluid flow phenomena. The software offers complete multiphysics simulation to meet the specific needs of diverse industries, from civil engineering to advanced manufacturing, aerospace to biotech.

Founded in 1980 by Dr. C. W. (Tony) Hirt, a pioneer of the Volume-of-Fluid (VOF) method, Flow Science has a long history of advancing fluid dynamics modeling. FLOW-3D is a direct descendant of Dr. Hirt’s groundbreaking work at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Headquartered in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with a training office in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and a growing global network of subsidiaries and partners, Flow Science supports customers across civil engineering, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, biotechnology, and beyond.
