Development of the trapezoidal CSG

The trapezoidal cemented sand and gravel (CSG) dam, recently developed in Japan to rationalize the use of materials, also helps to improve the design and implementation. Weathered rock and other materials close to the dam site, which are not suitable for concrete aggregate, can be used, and the production methods and equipment are simple. The size of the excavation areas for the raw materials and for the construction facilities can be limited, so this type of dam can be regarded as an environment-friendly. The key features of the trapezoidal CSG dam are outlined here.
