Mazar: a high CFRD in an asymmetric canyon

The Mazar dam is the main structure of the Paute Mazar hydroelectric project, at present under construction in Ecuador. The dam is a 166 m-high CFRD, located in an asymmetric narrow canyon. This paper presents a brief description of the project.
