O&M technology transfer for the San Roque plant in the Philippines

A comprehensive and multi-stage training programme was implemented by KEPCo for the maintenance work force at the San Roque scheme. An evaluation procedure was applied to monitor the level of success, and it was found that a combination of learning by observation, hands-on training, and supervision while carrying out an overhaul on a model machine yielded good results, and ensure stable operation of the San Roque plant.
