Prior to the 21st Century, design and construction methods for dams and other infrastructure remained relatively unchanged. Communication between the various disciplines has been a segmented and seperate process. In today’s construction environment, it is no longer sufficient to have various disciplines working separately. To solve this issue, the building information modelling (BIM) concept has emerged.
