Enel Green Power SpA operates within the renewable energy sector for electricity production based on hydro, geothermal, biomass, wind and photovoltaic technologies. The company has developed and constructed the Apiacás complex project, on the Apiacás river, in the northern part of the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, with a catchment area of approximately 7.23 km². The project comprises three run-of-river powerplants in sequence: Cabeça de Boi; Salto Apiacás; and, Da Fazenda, which began operating at the end of 2016.
