Venezuela’s experience with CFRD construction

After a brief review of the major CFRDs already built for the Lower Caroni development in Venezuela, the author describes the Tocoma scheme, which is currently under construction; it incorporates a 55 m-high CFRD, and a 2160 MW powerplant.
