Aqua~Media International Ltd is the publisher of The International Journal on Hydropower and Dams, and the organizer of the HYDRO, ASIA and AFRICA event series.
Exhibition stands can be provisionally booked through our Inter-active Exhibition Plan. Click on stands to see companies that have already booked, or to see which stands are still available. Yellow areas show catering points.
A major element of the ASIA 2023 event will be the Technical Exhibition, running for three days alongside the conference.
The exhibition will be the main hub for business networking, between delegates and industry representatives who will be exhibiting their supplies and services. Exhibitors typically comprise consultants, contractors, manufacturers, developers and professional associations.
All lunch and refreshments will be served in the exhibition, with catering points (shown in yellow on the plan) arranged to ensure that delegates will move around the whole area regularly during the three days.
The exhibition will remain open for a networking event after the conference sessions on Wednesday 15 March, to provide extra opportunities for business meetings in an informal atmosphere.
Exhibition space is sold in units of 6 m2, however larger stands and custom-built stands are available.

The Kansai Electric Power Company is responsible for power generation and reliable power supply in Japan, particularly for the Kansai area. At ASIA 2020, the company will showcase a new innovation in drone inspection. Until now, scaffolding and work at height, or the use of inspection robots have been necessary for inspections inside penstocks. These methods are risky and time consuming, requiring costly long-term suspension of power
generation. To solve these issues, the application of inspection by drone has been explored and Kansai Electric Power Group is pleased to present
a special attachment named 'Tail', which maintains flexible contact between the drone and inside of the penstock, greatly enhancing flight stability and minimizing collisions with the inside of the penstock.

If your business is part of this dynamic industry, ASIA 2023 is where you need to be. It is the ideal event to strengthen existing relationships, make new contacts and generate new business.
The Aqua~Media International team, with the support of the Malaysian Government, the Malaysian Committee on Large Dams, and the State Power utilities, welcomes the global water and energy community to the vibrant, multi-cultural city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Peninsular Malaysia, as well as Sarawak and Sabah, have wide experience of large and small hydropower development and multipurpose dams. Study tours will visit to some of the large cascade developments in Peninsular Malaysia. Hydropower supplies about 20 per cent of Malaysia’s approximately 34 GW of installed capacity, with hydro supplying more than 20 TWh/year. The Government is strongly committed to increasing the share of renewable energy in the country’s generation mix, with a target to add 4 GW of renewables across the thirteen states by 2030.
The country has about 104 large dams. The most recently completed in Peninsular Malaysia are the Puah dam for the 250 MW Hulu Terengganu powerplant (completed in 2015), and Susu RCC dam for the 372 MW Ulu Jelai hydro plant (commissioned in 2016) The latest large scheme going ahead in Sarawak is the 188 m-high Baleh CFRD, following the completion of Bakun and Murum. Some of the most important schemes in Peninsular Malaysia will be visited during post-Conference study tours.
