Bids sought for reconstruction of Lagarde plant in France

HydroStadium, a hydropower engineering subsidiary of EDF, invites bids by 15 March for the reconstruction of the Lagarde hydropower station on the river Tarn in the commune of Barry d'Islemande in France’s southwestern department of Tarn-et-Garonne. The scope of supply includes the demolition of the existing plant and the reconstruction of a new powerhouse, water intake, along with the supply and installation of electromechanical, electrical and hydromechanical equipment.

The contract, with an estimated value of €5 million (excluding VAT), is scheduled to take 19 months from October of this year with the works to be undertaken by March 2026, according to a tender notice published on the EU’s procurement platform on 1 February. Panel of experts sought for Bac Ai pumped-storage project in Vietnam

The French development agency, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), is seeking to engage individual regional or international specialists to form a panel of experts to provide technical assistance services for the development of the 1.2 GW Bac Ai pumped-storage hydropower plant in the Ninh Thuan province of Vietnam. Bids are sought by 14 March in separate tenders for the roles of dam safety specialist (LOT-0001), geotechnical specialist (LOT-0002), electro-mechanical expert (LOT-0003) and environmental and social specialist (LOT-0004) as part of the panel of experts.

ESIA sought for integrated Gongri-Jeri project in Bhutan

Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC), Bhutan’s state-controlled hydropower plant operator and developer, invites expressions of interest by 22 March from qualified international consulting firms to carry out an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) of the Integrated Gongri hydropower project and Jerichhu (Jeri) pumped-storage project in eastern Bhutan.
