Consulting services include detailed engineering design, preparation of estimates, economic/financial feasibility assessment and preparation of procurement documents required for effective implementation of the dam and its ancillary components. A total of 144 person-months for experts is estimated and the assignment is expected to commence in January 2027 with the implementation period of 14 months. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. Consultants should have with at least five years of experience in dam engineering, water resources, civil engineering, hydropower, water supply, hydraulic infrastructure, or related fields, and at least ten years of experience in detailed engineering design of concrete/RCC/CFRD dams with a minimum height of 35 m; as well as construction supervision, construction management, or detailed design review of major dams; and dam or major water-resources infrastructure projects outside the consultant’s home country.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method as set out in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, Seventh Edition (September 2025).
