The contracted works are to be financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) under the Climate-Resilient Flood Protection Dams Project.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing [April 2019 edition, revised in February 2023], and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
Bidding documents may be inspected at the address below during office hours (7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Muscat time). A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as shown on the Esnad procurement platform. Bids must be delivered to the address through the E-Tendering website (Esnad) on or before the specified date and time on the website: https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.om.
Physical delivery of bids will not be permitted. Bids will be opened by the Tender Board Committee and evaluated by the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 300 000 Omani Riyals (OMR), from the Bank Guarantee issued by a reputable financial institution in Omani Riyals (OMR). In case of joint venture the bid security should be named by all members. Unregistered contractors under Esnad should register prior to bidding.
