SECI seeks EPC contractor for 100 MW FPV project in Jharkhand

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has launched an international competitive procurement process for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of a 100 MW floating solar PV plant in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand. Request for bids are sought by 31 March for the contract, which includes operation and maintenance services over a 10 year period.

SECI, a company of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, which was established to facilitate the implementation of the National Solar Mission, said it has applied to the World Bank for funding totalling US$ 200 million for the project, which is to be built at the Getalsud dam in Ranchi.
