SECI seeks EPC contractor for 100 MW FPV project in Jharkhand

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has launched an international competitive procurement process for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of a 100 MW floating solar PV plant in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand. Request for bids are sought by 31 March for the contract, which includes operation and maintenance services over a 10 year period.

SECI, a company of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, which was established to facilitate the implementation of the National Solar Mission, said it has applied to the World Bank for funding totalling US$ 200 million for the project, which is to be built at the Getalsud dam in Ranchi.

Civil works tendered for rehabilitation of Contador, São Tomé

The Fiduciary Agency for Project Administration of the Ministry of Planning, Finance and the Blue Economy of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Principe invites sealed bids by 22 April for the design and undertaking of civil works related to the rehabilitation and expansion of the 4 MW Contador hydro plant on São Tomé, the larger of the country’s two main islands.

Bhutan seeks technical advisory services for Dorjilung hydropower project

Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC), Bhutan's state-controlled hydropower plant operator and developer, invites expressions of interest by 18 March from qualified international consultant firms to provide technical advisory services for the update of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Dorjilung hydroproject. The consultant will be required to ensure that the updated DPR is bankable and according to international standards and best practice, and also complying with the Bhutanese Guidelines for Development of Hydropower Projects (2018).
