Turbine rotors sought for Dobresti plant, Romania

Bids are sought by 7 Janaury 2019 for the supply of Pelton turbine rotos for the 16 MW plant in Romania.

Hidroelectrica, Romania’s state-controlled hydropower producer seeks bids by 7 January 2019 for the design and supply of three monoblock Pelton turbine rotors, including work injectors, deflectors and assembly elements, for the 16 MW Dobresti diversion type hydropower plant on the river Ialomita in the southern central county of Dambovita. The contracted works, which also entail turbine shaft preparation, the assembly of the new rotors, technical assistance at assembly, commissioning, performance testing and delivery of the ‘As Build’ documentation according to the terms of reference requirements, are expected to be completed within ten months of contract signing and have an estimated value, excluding VAT, of RON 3.099 million (US$ 758 421), according to a tender notice published on the EU’s procurement website TED on 21 November.
