AFRICA 2019 Announcement: Namibia

Plans proposed for 1 GW tidal project in France

Plans have been submitted to the French Government for a 1 GW tidal array. A study carried out in the Raz Blanchard strait considered it to be one of the best tidal energy resources in the world.

Interest sought for the Lesotho Highlands Water project

The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) will soon be inviting Expressions of Interest from suitable, qualified engineering and construction companies interested in tendering for the construction of the 165 m-high Polihali dam and the 38 km-long Polihali transfer tunnel.
