Evaluation of hydrological parameters for hydro development in southern Laos

This study estimates rainfall in the ungauged catchments of the Bolaven plateau. As a result of the high rainfall and favourable topographical conditions in this area, several hydropower projects have been planned or are already developed. The results of the study present the annual catchment rainfall and specific yield of runoff for sub-catchments in the area of the plateau. Newly emerging hydrology trends, influenced by climate change, are also summarized.
