Innovative design features of the Misicuni CFRD in Bolivia

The Misicuni multipurpose project, now under way in Bolvia, has been designed to allow for flexibility in execution, reduced risk of seismicity and various advantages for the schedule, based on low cost and simple construction technology. This paper describes the main characteristics of the project, with emphasis on features which are unique to Misicuni.
