Performance of the Ishibuchi CFRD during the Miyage earthquake

The first CFRD to be constructed in Japan (in 1953) was subjected to strong shaking during a major seismic event in 2008. The performance of the dam, along with recorded accelerograms, leakage and displacements, are presented in this paper.
