Peru’s experience of public and private investment in hydro projects

Experiences at two projects in Peru are described which highlight some successful cases of joint public and private investment; these could be useful for projects in other parts of the world. Emphasis is placed on the distribution of costs between investors, based on the benefits for the various parties involved.
