Recent institutional reforms in the energy sector of Cameroon are described, and current initiatives, progress achieved so far and future prospects at the local, national and regional levels are assessed.For each project, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are analysed. It is reported that the development of each project requires specific regulation as a result of ambiguities within the legal framework.
