Bids sought to re-evaluate planning design for Holtavirkjun in Iceland

Landsvirkjun, Iceland’s state power producer, invites bids by 29 October for engineering consultancy services for the re-evaluation of the project planning design for the Holtavirkjun hydropower project on the Lower Thjorsa in the southern part of Iceland.

The services include review of an outdated design (draft AACE stage 2), finalization of required design revisions to issue a preliminary design (AACE stage 3), and preparation of information required to finalize the environmental impact assessment for the project, according to a tender notice published on the EU’s procurement platform on 8 September.
