CEZ seeks new impeller for Dalešice pumped-storage station

CEZ, the Czech Republic's state-controlled power producer and supplier, invites bids by 10 January 2023 for the supply of a complete new impeller for the Francis reversible pump turbine of the TG3 unit of the 450 MW Dalešice pumped-storage hydropower station.

The scope of contract entails the supply, disassembly and assembly of the impeller and all measurements and tests in accordance with the requirements specified in the tender documentation. The country’s second largest pumped-storage station, which is located on the river Jihlava in the southeastern region of Vysočina, was commissioned between 1970 and 1978 as part of the nearby Dukovany nuclear power station, and is equipped with four sets of reversible Francis pump-turbines, each with a capacity of 112.5 MW.
