EdM invites bids for evaluation of Mavuzi in Mozambique

The power station on the river Buzi was commissioned in 1957, and underwent refurbishment and upgrades between 2013 and 2017. It has a nameplate capacity of 52 MW, comprising three 14 MW units and two 5 MW units, though according to EDM, only 23 MW of this capacity is currently available.

Interested bidders will be able to obtain more information, examine the tender documents or purchase them, at the address below, against the payment of a non-refundable fee of MZN 1500. Payment can be made by deposit in BIM account number 1188445 and the receipt must be withdrawn at the Treasury of the company located on Av. Agostinho Neto, No. 70, R/C in Maputo. All interested bidders are invited to access the EDM Supplier Portal through the link: https://fornecedores.edm.co.mz for the purpose of registering, communicating and participating in tenders by EDM. Registration on the online platform is obligatory for the eligibility of all suppliers, in the tender opportunities promoted by EDM.
