LHDA invites EoIs for construction of Katse diversion tunnel No. 2 plugging

The scope of  work includes:

• provision of a rectangular steel bulkhead to the dam low-level outlet, welded into the existing steel-lined sluice gate housing;
• concrete backfilling of large chambers;
• construction of an anchored approximately 7m diameter reinforced concrete bulkhead;
• provision of access to the respective work faces; and,
• staff and labour accommodation.

A voluntary information session will take place online on Monday, 27 October 2025, at 11:00. Interested participants should send an email to LHDA procurement at procurement@lhda.org.ls to request the meeting link.

Interested bidders should submit their Expression of Interest, clearly marked as’ EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE KATSE DIVERSION TUNNEL No. 2 PLUGGING. ‘ Submissions can be sent electronically to the LHDA procurement email or in hard copy, plainly labelled with the same title and without any bidder identification. All must be delivered to Lesotho Highlands Development Authority, 7th Floor, LHDA Tower Building, Kingsway, Maseru, no later than 12:00 hrs on 28th November 2025.
